Directions:  The object of the game is to guess where your opponent is by calling out coordinates and sinking their navy.  Each side gets a navy like this: 
1 aircraft carrier - 6 points on the grid
1 battleship - 5 points on the grid
1 destroyer - 3 points on the grid
1 submarine - 3 points on the grid
1 cruiser - 3 points on the grid
1 PT boat - 2 point on the grid

Set-up your navy on your side of the grid.  Keep track of your guesses on the other grid as you try to sink your partner's ships.


Take turns calling out latitude & longitude coordinates for points where you think enemy ships are located. 
Show your guesses on the 2nd grid with X's. 
If you opponent tells you've made a hit, circle that X. 


When your opponent makes guesses about where you ships are located, record those as X's on your grid on the LEFT.

Happy Constitution Day Celebration!! The US Constitution, our framework for government, was ratified (approved) on September 17, 1789.  Because of this historic moment, the State of Michigan celebrated Constitution Day on 9/17 every year.  This year, 9/17, fell on the weekend; therefore, we are celebrating today.  

Your activity today is has multiple steps and purposes: 
1) Students need to become familiar with the BrainPop website as a learning tool.
2) Students will watch the short video on the US Constitution. 
3) Students will next use the information in the video to complete the Review. (*Students are required to take a screenshot of the score on the Review and attach it to Google Classroom for points earned.)
4) Finally, students will use the information from the video and the review activity to take a "graded" quiz.   (*Students are required to take a screenshot of the score on the "Graded" Quiz and attach it to Google Classroom for points earned.)
