Mackinac Island Trip

June 3-5, 2018

Qualifying Factors:

  • No behavior referrals or constant behavior issues
  • No grade lower than a D- for semester 1
  • No grade lower than a D- on May 23rd

The first 34 students to pay the deposit are guaranteed a spot.  After that, we must have a minimum of 10 additional students to secure a second bus.  The 35th student and beyond will be assigned to a waitlist. If we are not able to fill the second bus the students signed up on the waitlist will have priority to fill any spots that may open in the first 34 in the event that students become ineligible to attend. Max attendance is 44 students.

Package Includes:

  • Accommodations and meals at Mission Point- 2 breakfasts and 1 Dinner
  • Admissions to Fort Michilimackinac, Fort Mackinac, Mackinac Point Lighthouse, Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park, Adventure Park
  • Round trip on Shepler Ferry
  • All gratuities
  • Hayride
  • $40 Allowances
  • $60.00 meals

Deposit and Payments

A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space.  There are many more students eligible for the trip than the bus can seat.  Rooms will be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis. Deposit due by October 5, 2018

December 15 - $50
January 15 - $50

March 15 - $50
April 15 - $65 REMAINDER of BALANCE

Total cost - $440

Checks made out to Coloma Junior High (please put student’s name in the memo)

Refunds:

$100 deposit is non-refundable. Additional payments will be made monthly.  If a student chooses to withdraw from the trip for any reason, the refund for each payment will be 50% of the payments made.

Spending Money

An activity allowance of $40.00 and $60.00 for meals will be distributed as indicated on the itinerary. Students may use activity money for:

Bicycle and/or rollerblade rental
Horseback riding or carriage rental
Mini Golf
Personal shopping
Extra tours
