About Me

¡Hola!

 

This is my sixth year teaching at Coloma Community Schools and I am excited to see what this school year will bring.  I will be teaching Spanish 1-4 at the High School.  Spanish is a huge passion of mine and I can't wait to teach the language through comprehensible input and cultural experiences from my time abroad in Spain.  

 

I grew up in Buchanan and graduated from Central Michigan University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Education.  I received my Masters from Michigan State University in 2022 in Foreign Language Teaching. At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 10 month old son. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking with our dogs, and eating ice cream. 

 

Outside of the classroom, I am also the 7th grade volleyball.  Coaching is a great way to get to know students outside of the classroom and I am looking forward to another fun season! Go Comets!
