Welcome!

Welcome!  I am so excited to be part of the Coloma Comets! My hometown in Wisconsin was the Cassville Comets, so I love Comet Green and Gold:-) Woo-hoo! My family has moved around the Midwest, so I have lived and taught in the states of MO, IA, IL, WI & MI for a total of over 30 years of teaching experience, and almost all of it has been at the junior high level. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. Once you get to know me, you will hear stories about my husband, Trevor, my daughter, Megan, and my rescue dog, Frankie. You might also hear about my childhood growing up on the Mississippi River, setting fishing lines, clamming with our toes, and camping on the sandbars.

 

As I begin my fifth year as a Coloma Comet, I can completely appreciate all the unique characteristics of Coloma, and I love how you spend your time in this beautiful environment. This year, I will be teaching 6th and 7th social studies. I welcome both parents and community to participate with us as we explore the world around us.
