Welcome to My Classroom!

I’m so excited to have you here. This page is where you’ll find important information about my classes throughout the year.

I absolutely love teaching middle school—I truly have a passion for this age group (even though some people think I’m a little crazy for it!). I’ve been a proud teacher in Coloma for over 20 years, and I can’t imagine teaching anywhere else.

Outside of school, life is busy and full of adventure. I have four children, and as a family we spend much of our free time hiking, camping, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors. We also live on a farm, which keeps us active during the summer months.

In addition to teaching, I coach cross country and track. Coaching is one of my favorite ways to connect with students beyond the classroom walls. It’s such a joy to watch them grow, especially as they transition from junior high into high school.

Thank you for putting your trust in me and in Coloma Schools to educate your child. I strongly believe that education works best when it’s a team effort between home and school, and I look forward to partnering with you this year.
